As Long as you are at TTR all will be good. If anything you will get it from drinking too much booze and not enough water. If out on a day trip...keep to bottled water.

From what we have seen the resort is fine and when ya go out into town get only bottled water and just to be safe we avoid drinks with ice in them. We might be a little to safe but who wants to spend their vacation sick in the room?

feel free to use that one, when i got home and girlfriend yelled at me for getting drunk, I told her that it was doctors orders haha.....
But that is a true story, the doctor did say that alcohol will kill a lot of bacteria or other things in your stomach that your body is not used too and that is fine with me....drink up :beer4:

we have been to cancun many times and have never been sick from drinking on or off resort. If you are worried of hep A,B you can get the twin rex shots through your family doctor. My motto is if you drink enough mexican tequilla there isnt anything that is gonna kill me.... not even swine flu!

The resort actually has its own water purifacation system on site, so everything at the resort is fine, but as others have said, when out of the resort be careful

If you do get sick with diarrhea, you just need to get some Ciprofloxacin (Ciproflox) 500mg twice a day for 2 days. You can get it over the counter at Mexico pharmacies.
