    Hi

Will the in room "safe" be a safe place to keep money? (no pun intended), I have about $1500 in US and Pesos. Don't want to walk around with that kind of cash as you can imagine.

Had no problems with the safe. Kept our mini laptop, camera, passports, money etc in there for duration of our stay and had no problems what so ever. Our travel insurance covers us for valuables (and money) that are stolen from a (locked) safe just in case though.

Just get into a routine of keeping it locked at all times. Number of times we were half way to the bar and I'd panic that the safe hadn't been locked.

Have always kept all our valuables in the safe and never had anything go missing. I always make sure the last thing i do before leaving the room is lock the safe and all is good.

Good point, but try to be careful about what code you put in. My wife drank a little too much and must have hit a different number that she didn't mean to hit. We tried guessing for awhile, but once you try to many times then the safe won't let you try guessing anymore. We had to have someone come up and they hooked up some machine and opened it.
