I certainly don't want to dampen the excitement many CCC members have as their vacations approach, but sometimes the events of the day make you pause for a moment, and realize how lucky we are. A little Toronto boy; only 3 years old somehow, in the middle of the night, managed to walk out of his home dressed in only a tee shirt, a diaper, and his little boots. Needless to say, his parents were not aware, and by the time they woke, and notified the police, the little guy had been exposed to the frigid elements too long to survive. Tragedy has probably touched us all at one time or another, but it just seems so much more heartbreaking when it involves a child. It breaks my heart to think how afraid that little guy must have been, and the unbearable pain his parents must be experiencing now. God rest his soul, and comfort his parents. If you have children or grandchildren, take a moment today to give them a hug!
