I am talking about Ron Santo, if anyone remembers him. Up here in chicago, he is LOVED by all, and is the voice of cubs baseball. Some will say his numbers were not HOF numbers, others will say they were. To me, he had better numbers than some of the other HOF players that are already in. I could see a case for Santo being in the hall, he had a pretty good career. Unfortunate he wont see Cooperstown....but now we look ahead to January 12th and Rickey Henderson taking his rightful place amongst the heroes. Jim Rice, in their final year of elegibility wont make it, and I'm not so sure theres anyone else who will this year....Still hoping for Dale Murphy to go in, its a crime he's not already. Would also love to see The Hawk, Andre Dawson get in, as well as David Cone and of course Big Mac himself!
and he shouldnt be! He had the numbers........ its a shame the voters did that. Its been 8 years since they have voted someone in!
