Except the contest is completely rigged - our friend entered and won and was upgraded to a jacuzzi suite where we were watched like hawks by Mr. Mustachio the security guy. Then she was put up online for voting and apparently they went though and took out "fake votes" - so they choose who they want to win. Which I thought was kind of funny because the girl that did win didn't even take off her top the entire time she was at the resort.
The weekly prizes are nice: 2 massages, passes to some of the clubs, an upgrade to a jacuzzi suite (we didn't move in since it was our last night there) and a lobster dinner. It was pretty funny--my husband won Mr. Temptation and the beer drinking competition and got a mug and T-shirt for each. That's all I was expecting to win in the Miss Temptation contest! What an awesome surprise! Curls and Smiley, thanks for the heads-up about the online being rigged. I'm supposed to be up in July, so it's good to know not to get my hopes up.
Who is your friend? Mindi was in the finals back in January...I could tell you how badly EVERYONE thought it was rigged...
February - Sherry - she's on here too and even with all of the legit votes from this, the other girl kept-pace at an astonishingly steady pace (1 vote every 30 seconds for hours on-end... hrmmm).
...and there were definitely a few crowd faves that didnt win...but it was a great time and they treated us like rock stars!
It's just a popularity contest. It's fun to watch, but annoying to see the monthly winners promoting after they get home. You get room upgrades and a few other things.
