Sorry to report that they are not planning on doing a finale this year. The winners for each month are just getting a certificate for a return visit whenever they choose to return.
The 2012 monthly winners have just been issued their certificates for a free 7-night stay for two (no airfare). Must be used by the end of May 2012. The grande finale for 2012 was scrapped after several of the monthly winners last year failed to show up for the 2011 grand finale. I spoke to Mario (who runs the entertainment) when I was at TTR last week, and he confirmed that the grand finale to choose Miss Temptation 2012 will be done by online voting in January of 2013. The prize will be a 1-week trip for two back to the resort, including airfare. So far, we have 2 Cancuncare monthly winners for 2012 (Samantha and I), and it looks like Chango will win for August, so let's make sure we make a Cancuncare girl Miss Temptation 2012! :bunny:
Didn't you get the memo back in June advising that you won, Vince? Gee, that's too bad...you only had 10 days to claim your prize.
What week are you using yours? We won June/ April because they took the top two! It's too bad they aren't having us all come down at the same time!
Sorry, Sasha, I forgot that they picked 2 winners for May/June. Didn't mean to leave you out! Yes, it would have been fun to get all the monthly winners together. But I did get to meet Sam briefly last week at the resort at least. I'm really unsure about when I'll use my week. Want to go back with the Addicts in April, but work schedule is messed up and I don't think I can swing April this year. So I'm considering joining the Week 8 group (last week of Feb) because my birthday falls in that week, or the Mayhem crew in mid-May. I've got time blocked off in both Feb and May at the moment to keep my options open. Maybe I'll see you there? :aktion069:
We are thinking May or April too. Do you know if we get an ocean view room? Or is it just the regular one? Also have you heard if they are doing a calendar again?
Calendar? I've never seen a Miss T calendar. Hope they don't sell them in the coffee shop at the Vancouver law courts ha ha. I can just see some old judge squinting down at me disapprovingly from the bench. :icon_redface: I have no idea what kind of room they will give us. Everything I know about the free nights is what I have posted on this thread, which is pretty much next to nothing. Hopefully I'll see you in April or May!
We plan on using our trip for new years this year. Just waiting to see if we can get the vacation time approved from work. Fingers crossed, failing that we may look at March break timimg we will have to see how it all unfolds
