I was in Cancun approx. 6 years ago and we stayed at the Miramar Mission near Senor Frogs. Is that hotel still there? If not is there another company that took over that same location? We would like to stay in that general area again at an AI, any thoughts on hotels we can check out? Any info greatly appreciated Circlemmermaid
hotel Sadly, Miramar Mision never reopened after hurricane Wilma. It has since been demolished and condos are being built on that property. I loved that little hotel too and was sad to see it go. Le Blanc, Royal Sunset, Gran Caribe Real are nearby. Also, there are several condo properties that have units for rent by individual owners. Right across the street from Sr Frog's are Bay View Grand and Portifino (i might be wrong on that last one), and down a little further (between Sr Frog's and the other nightclubs/shopping areas) are Girasol, Salvia, Carisa, and Palma. If you just want to be walking distance to things, but not necessarily to Sr. Frog's, also check out NH Krystal, Hyatt Regency, Dreams Cancun. There are others within walking distance of everything, but that will give you a starting point.
