Minor Leaguer traded for Ball Bats

    I had to laugh when I saw this in the newspaper today. Talk about a climate change... traded from Calgary to Laredo, but to be traded for 10 wooden baseball bats worth $650.50. Ouch!!!

    According to the article though, he was actually costing the team a little bit because he could not cross the border to Canada due to an old criminal charge. So who knows, maybe they saved money on this one.
