Howdy, Long time reader, first time poster... Finally, I think I may have something to contribute... Last year I purchased an unlocked iPhone direct from Apple to use as my TelCell pay-as-you-go. I did my due diligence and checked with TelCell on their website and noted they had the Micro available... However, after a 90 minute line-up to change my old chip to the Micro, I was informed they only give them out on plans, and you must buy the phone from them... I thought I was now in possession of a very expensive iPod! However, a friend pointed out the new Micro's are the same "chip", just on a smaller card. We traced the outline of the micro holder from the iPhone onto my TelCell chip, cut it out with a sharp pair of scissors, and it works like a charm - Also works in iPads. There are lots of "How To's" online including YouTube demos to assist you.
I just saw that online as well as I am considering switching to an iPhone and refuse to go to a plan and pay the ridiculous price for the phone. I use the Amigo Blackberry and LOVE IT!!! Glad someone had success with cutting the chip down to size.
Glad I'm not the only one happy with his/her Blackberry! I read that they were going to give us $100 worth of apps as compensation starting today. Let's see if they do. Not that I am looking for compensation but it would be nice to have some pay apps instead of all the free ones!
Well that makes perfect sense. Or does it? HMMMM I had a Blackberry Pearl and I loved it. But TMobile gave me two free Samsung Vibrants, aka Galaxy S, Smartphones and these I really love. Well, I love one and my daughter loves the other one. Tons of free apps available. One of my favorites is WhatsApp which is good for free texts between other Smart Phones, iPhone and Blackberrys. Jaja - Telcel.
Is there anyone who can help me master my new, unlocked, jail broken iPhone 3s. 34 giga? Please baby, please please please!
And the answer is, hire an 18 year old! He is my friend's kid and he also knows a guy who is a real pro and jail broke phones and all the things that go with buying an unlocked phone in the US for your Amigo program here.
