We went to Miami to attend the Sea Trade Show at the convention center. It is all about cruises, tour providers, docks, ferries, food providers by port, tenders, etc. We arrive to Miami on Monday and double check our hotel reservation made trough Expedia in T Advisor as we need a close location to the meetings. We book at a little hotel in Collins Av.; Suites on South Beach. The hotel is nice with just 14 rooms, each one with a kitchen, ice maker, fridge, plasma, and disgusting towels!! but in resume OK. The worst part was that I did not consider spring break time. We were surrounded in every room by 4 to 7 groups per room that like to play loud music and dance, shout and dispute from 1 AAM till 5 or 6 AM. So no matter how hard we try, we did not sleep more than an hour in a row for 4 nights. I went to run daily very early at Ocean Dr. just a block away from hour hotel and enjoy every second. Also love to walk Lincon Ave. And Collins Ave. down to 5th. The stress are great; Zara, AX, BR, Urban Outfitters, Max Mara. Ok I will not talk about work but will like to share our eating experience. By the recommendation of Peter owner of Gray Line Halifax, Nova Scotia we went to a Suchi Restaurant located almost in front of our hotel, I can not recall the name but the suchi was fantastic; the first day we try thai pai noodles, lobster suchi (it was served with the lobster tail; an exquisite plate) Spicy tuna roll, Boston roll and yellow tail roll. All of them were fantastic, service was very good and the place is fantastic with their own terrace to see all the people walking on the street and SMOKE Another night we take all the GLWW people (Iceland, Halifax, Los Cabos, Guatemala, Costa Rica and more) to Sr. Frogs also at Collins Ave, The food was not to good but the Tequila and Margaritas stand for themselves. Other night our with GLWW staff, this time we went also on Collins Ave. walking distance of 2 block from our hotel, a classic at LA and a must in Miami, deli food delicious. Suchi restaurant we repeated twice, we also try another at Lincon Ave. named Suchi Samba, the Ceviches and the rolls were very good but much more expensive that the first one.
