Hey party goers! I was just checking out the requirements for men, on the new restaurants. Most evenings it says collard shirt with sleeves, are they enforcing this rule? My arms are too big for sleeves. I know, its a tough life. You will see in Feb OR they just ride up to my shoulder hehe. What about the long pants? I usually never bring any, or my dress shoes for that matter. Below are some examples from the website. We've seen guys being turned away from the Italian, and She, for turning up in shorts. They publish a dress code, so they should enforce it, and we ought to adhere to it.
Last March the only restaurant you could dine in for dinner wearing shorts was the buffet, the rest you needed long pants.
I wore short sleeve at all resturants last September. Wore a nice polo shirt. I did see the pants rule being enforced and people getting very upset about it.
@LionsNzebras Saw a great couple pic in your album of you in a suit/tie for Zebra's bday. Food for thought on the long sleeve shirt? Forgive me if this is slightly off topic... My two cents... our ladies (who are the centre of our universe, loving and gracious for putting up with our shortcomings and habits), do their absolute best to wax, beautify, dress up and smell/look fantastic for us at all times and especially at dinner, it's only fair we make the modest effort of a nice shirt, long pants and shoes for the a la carte restaurants. And why risk any potential conflict with staff who are simply doing their job, not making the rules. Your lady may thank you later too (but what do I know... M and I have only been together for 43 years.. and I'm still in training, lol) You're a great looking couple... rock it!
Was asked to change from khaki shorts at both Amores and Sutra (different trips). No problem after switching to nice jeans and shoes with the same polo shirt. I had no problem with doing so and didn't question it for a second.
You know what, I think I still have that shirt, its the only long sleeve one I own. Or Perhaps the one I got married in. I have no issues with them, as long as they fit my bicepts And your absolutely right, its why I go out of my way to do some things like lingerie night. The women work so hard to do what we take for granted. I learned a hard lesson in 2014 while watching her get ready, oh and bathing suit shopping with my wife.....omg.
Hopefully we are there at the same time, I want to see these massive bicepts that you are not able to cover with a shirt. Impressive.
