Can someone tell me the normal style of clothes men wear in the evening? Also for women, I can tell by some pictures that a lot of women wear evening dresses and dress to impress in the evening. Does the same go for men? I have been to Jamaican and Puerto Rican Resorts were it is required that a man where pants and a sports coat in certain restaurants. Does the same go at Temptations? Your input would be greatly appreciated. :mnm:
Sports coat is not necessary. Men must wear shoes, no sandals. Nice pants and shirt is fine. Some men even wear shorts. I think shoes is their only restriction. I wore a dress everynight but thats what I am comfortable in. Its nice to dress up at night after being in a swimsuit all day......
Thank you, I am comfortable wearing Dresses myself. I like to get dressed up to go out in the evening. My boyfriend does too, I am looking forward to it. Thanks for your help
From my personal view comfort level must be the first thing to take in consideration before buying any clothes. If you feel comfortable in any clothing then u will buy it with out any hesitation. Rest depends on the individual.
Took far too many formal dresses last time. Next trip I'm cutting back to maybe two or three. Casual dressy clothes are fine for Paty O, rather than full on frocks.
Last trip I went with dress shorts and shirts. The wife was in nice casual stuff. It was pretty warm and it varied from casual to full dress. There were not alot of theme night participation other than the white night, couple of school girl outfits. We sat out at PatyO's almost every night. The show in the club emptied out fast and everone hung outside. One night was buy the sport pool and it was kind of dressy that night for the show.
After being in the pool all day we enjoy getting dressed up at night which is something we don't do much normally at home. Dressing up in the evenings is a highlight of the trip for me!
I for one enjoy seeing men making an effort to dress nicely, e.g., something better than a logo tee from Canadian Tire. Too many slobs accompanying well-dressed ladies at the resort!
For the restuarants where you make reservations, they prefer if men wear closed toe shoes and pants. No dress code for the buffet. I always pack a couple of light color pants as well as enough button down "caribbean style shirts" for each night of the week. Joyce brings a different dress for each night... how much you want to "reveal" is strictly up to you.
