Seems like a lot of the guys on here dress up for the theme nights at the resort which is great .... but is this the majority of men there or just a select few who take pics and post them . I am a SUPER fun guy but I just never really do the theme thing when we go to clubs here but Mrs Devilhorns is really trying to get me on board for it as she is all about it lol ... I just don't want to be the only guy who shows up to BDSM night in harness and shorts theme as every other guy there is in shorts and a Polo shirt lol
I will follow the color theme nights - (white, Black/Red, etc). When I was there in July approx. 50% of the guys dressed up for theme nights
So far for the soon to be husband I've purchased a collar and a masquerade mask, looking at cuffs soon. He will be participating in theme nights despite his reserved nature. I say go for it!
Congrats on your upcoming nuptials.....Many you enjoy a lifetime of wedded bliss!! (Of course coming from experience celebrating 32 yrs when we go, I can tell you It won't be that way!! LOL) Life has it's ups and downs BUT if you have honesty, trust and love...you've got it all!!... but back to theme night, lol mine will wear what I get him too.....as he said, order whatever, I don't give a shit, no one knows me and no one cares!! He's such a good sport.......faux leather shorts, collar and leash.....not sure if I'm gonna cuff him yet!!.....lol and MY outfit is smoking (from what he said when I modeled it for him!!) LOL Go for it we are!! D
There always seems to be a large amount of men participating. I personally tend to dress up for nearly every theme night. You will not be alone.
I encourage you to participate in as many theme nights as possible. It is a lot of fun and a great way to meet folks. I would agree tends to be ~50% so only question is what half of the party do you want to be at? Lol Go for it! You will not regret it!
For Chaos Crew dates (Nov 26 through to about Dec 10) about 80% of the men dress up, be that full-on theme wear or just an accent of it here or there. I think other times of year this drops a bit and men are more in the usual clothes and just cheer on the women. But, men who dress up get the most attention. If you want that, then dress up! If you'd rather be part of the background, then normal clothes are ok too.
I say go for it ! We've been to TTR twice, and participation has varied. It's more fun to dress up especially as a couple. Don't do anything that makes you unhappy or uncomfortable. I suggest take your costumes with you, and feel out the crowd. Many people feel out the crowd before deciding to dress up. Remember no one gives a shit - do what makes the both of you happy !!! Have a great time !
First time going my husband brought the costumes clothes but didn't end up wearing many of them due to nerves by the end of the trip he wished he did. Last year he totally stepped up his game and had a blast. Everyone cheers you on, no one will think 'why the heck is that guy wearing a santa hat on his junk?'. This year... we may only need a carry on
