It has been for about the past 10 years from what I recall. They use to have the Cancun Jazz Fest that weekend every year. Then they added the Hip Hop Fest at the same time as the Jazz Fest. Then they dropped the Jazz Fest and Just had the Hip Hop Fest and it's been like that for the past 5 years. The Hip Hop Fest is May 22-26th...... So the clubs will be packed to the gills each night. I'm not a fan of hip hop so I stopped going down every year for Memorial day weekend. Michelle
