I have been a member for about 8 years. We used to just book our rooms through the hotel, and were given an ocean view room automatically, just paid the AI fee. Now I have gone through the website premierbyoriginalresorts.com for the reservations, which start you with Garden View rooms, then charge additional for Ocean View, etc. And they seem to be more expensive than just using points and paying the AI fee, but without the member benefits. Any suggestions on the best way to book a member room now (maybe I'm taking the wrong path), or at the very least, get a good Garden room? Looking to go April 27 thru May 11 :clappyinghappy:
Even the garden view rooms are nice, maybe call them and see what they can do. People with newer contracts tend to do a bit better in terms of rates etc now (reason I did it). May be worth sitting down and seeing if they can't make you a better deal than your current contract. Without getting into details, they make it worthwhile for me to upgrade.
