I was told May sell"s out pretty fast and if so when should i think of booking ? Ive noticed on Jamie"s list that there will be alot of couples going in May would it be a bad choice to go in may if there is mostly couples or will that change up as closer to may it gets. There use to be a thread on people who had used p90x for whatever reason i could'nt find it in my search so i was thinking of trying it to see if i could drop a pound or two before my trip any advice would help . thankyou for the help
Welcome to the Board Slappy! As far as selling out goes, I don't think May has sold out in the last couple of years. Just with the state of the economy and all. It may get close though so I would book as soon as you figure out you can go and what the dates are. Buying the trip insurance it you have any doubts is always a good idea too. As to the couples/singles mix, remember that TTR has over 400 rooms. Even on our best days, we may account for 75 of those rooms on any given night. So over 75% of the hotel is not listed in the roll call. There are always single guys and single ladies there, both within our group and outside of it. So as long as you are yourself, are not pushy, and respect the ladies you can go at anytime and have a great vacation. Jamie
Jamie is spot-on.. mostly due to the fact he's the man. We go every year during the first week of May and have always had a great time. We also do p90x every year before we go and actually just started p90x 2 yesterday. They both are good programs that'll get you inshape fast. Have any questions just p.m me. Bill
We tried it a couple of years ago and it worked pretty well. Being a triathlete it didn't have enough cardio for my liking and several of the workouts didn't do alot for me. Make sure and follow the diet or you'll put on weight. Kris and I looked on expedia yesterday for available rooms and it said there weren't any openings which freaked us out too so I appreciate Jamies response.
Try Alpha Rooms through the link on the Board. They seem to have rooms and at the cheapest price. Jamie
We looked there but it appeared it was for European customers only. I assume you can use USD to pay for the hotel then?
Absolutely! If you look on the screen where it has the Currency: you can change it to US$. Just be sure to call your credit card company before you complete the purchase saying you're making a purchase online outside of the US or they will more than likely reject it. Jamie
On alpharooms, click on flight only and USD and things will look defferent. Itis true you can not book flights through Alpharooms unless you are in europe. hhh
