We were due to go to Temptation in May2019 but rescheduled for May2020 for family reasons. After browsing this site I can see April is a popular month and I'm concerned we have picked a 'dead' time to go. We have booked and paid for May 5th - 19th. Is May a good time? Anyone else planning to be there then?
May is a great time to go.... it's just 9 months from now and we usually don't start getting excited till the December / January time frame. You'll have a great time! Jamie
Though April does have a pretty big crowd and following, so does May. Especially since this year there is a take-over at the end of April into May. That might push some people that normally would have went during that time period to either go earlier or later (helpful in your case). It will not be 'dead'. That's one of the best weather times of the year IMO.

We prefer to go in May but has slipped back into June a little. Mayhem is a great group to join, let's hope the hotel has upped it's vibe by then...Come on Sen. Patric Loeser there's a job to do...… your not the"Wild West" any longer (hope he reads this but suspect he will not......……..)
For us, we've noted that April & May are probably the months when going to TTR that we've enjoyed ourselves the most. Other than the titles (April Addicts and MAYHem) it's pretty much the same as far as weather goes, crowd, party participation, etc. I just checked and we've been in April 6 times and May 5, if that gives you any idea. We also go at the end of February (What's up Week 8!?!), and in Octoberbreast often.
While it certainly facilitates it, TTR doesnt market itself as a LS resort, though I will say the takeover IS a LS group. I'd encourage you to check it out if you're looking at May anyway. Joe and I dont identify as LSers but we certainly dont turn down a fun time, so we are doing the takeover, primarily for the DJs and private parties. We went for our first time last April right after the Dirty Vibes takeover not knowing that is was the best month to go and had a blast, but the music did get repetative and we had the white wristbands so no perks or anything. We're splurging a little this time around!
