I have a room booked for 4. How hard would it be to have an extra 5th person stay for example on an air mattress? Would sneaking them in the room be hard? Does Marriot do wrist bands/have tough security?
I cannot imagine a fine, upstanding hotel such as Marriott uses wristbands. I've stayed at plenty of hotels and never had problems bringing people back. Heck, I've walked into random hotels where I'm not a guest and used their facilities or relaxed by the pool. Most fine hotels won't risk insulting a person by asking them if they are indeed a guest, especially a very large hotel such as the Marriott where hundreds of people are staying.
cant go in the front ..... they will chek ur wristband !! GO to the back to get in and GOOOD LUCK on it !! remember the less people coming in at night the greater u will be caught !!!
Say you can sneak the person in. How do you explain to the maid that the extra person slept in the room? And how will you explain to security when they come knocking on the doors after the maid reports the extra person in the room? Or for that matter what will you tell the police as they escort you out of the property? Not a good idea. Best thing you can do is to pay for the extra person or spend the vacation time in jail plus the huge amount of money the lawyers will get for getting you out of jail vs. being cheap on the room.
I work at a hotel and have been in plenty of them here. They do check.. front and beach accesses. The hotel I am in now is a 5 Diamond resort and they ask every guest walking in the front door their room number. It is not an insult to make sure no stragglers are gonna disrupt anyones time. If the hotels issues a bracelet, don't do it!! Plain and simple. If they don't, then so be it.
