Hey sexies! We are considering a return trip this March and wondered what the pool temp is like? I've heard they don't heat it....we were there in June last year and it was perfect! Thanks!
The pool is heated..... it's used as a source of heat rejection from the air conditioning so what that means if lots of people are using there A/C then the pool will be warmer but if people choose to just open the windows as its not really hot during the day then the pool will be cooler .
They didn't used to heat it so if you are reading old reviews you may see that. It has been heated the last few years though so you should have no concerns.
That's only for the swim up bar for some reason that place is always the warmest must be where the venting for the air conditioner exchange is located.
went in 2013 first week of March and only got in pool three days (was windy and chilly, luck of draw) went week in 2012 and was great, I would go anyway it's always a flippin blast
Water Temp We have considered going in Feb-Mar in addition to our normal Oct. But looking at the Cancun average temps for Feb-Mar, it averages 6-7 degrees cooler than Oct. We had not heard about the sexy pool water being heated. Does this "heating" really make a difference ? If the water is too cool then my wife will not get in (or will get cold and then sick). Before we spend that much money I need to know if one can really tell a difference. Thanks. R
