hi i'm looking at booking for next year , end of march to early april and the room rates are ridiculously high...like double what we have paid the 2 trips this year(one- at save time of year) WHY???
Prime time busy season. Us Canadians need to get away from all the snow so we head to TTR in the winter.
Is your trip wrapping into the takeover week the first week of April? That may be part of the problem. Do mid to late April if you can...better weather, spring break is over, and flight prices to sun destinations are better after Easter
Yep we used to go in March and it was always more expensive than April. For many reasons we switched to April.. problem is it makes us wait a lot longer for our trip.
If you go during the takeover in April and not part of the group you will have limited access to things at the resort. For example you not be allowed to the SkyBar during the week of thier stay.
They say this isn't the case, and the only times you wouldn't have access are nights and days when the sky bar wouldn't be open anyway. BUT...that's what they said last year and it didn't play out that way.
We were there during the April takeover and were denied access all week. When we were there last week we were told it would be the same for April again.
