    Hey

If your like me you can not wait for spring break. Had this holiday booked for short of a year! 2 week all inclusive, Osis palm beach (Let me know if you've been there or know anything) £1,000. Not bad. Just writing to ask how much money people taking? N if your going similar time then speak up let me know were ya staying.

Also looking forward to confirming the myth going about Englishmen can drink Americans under the table.

Hope you all have a good time and maybe see some of you there.!

    Cheers.

    Hey Buddy,

Welcome to the boards. And grats on booking the most awesome vacation EVER!

uuuhmm. Spendingmoney is a really good question. Basically it depends on what you want to do in Cancun. At least you booked an AI-Hotel. So food and drinks are not an big issue.

You can calc with the following expenses: (All in US$ for easier conversation)

    Bus Ride: 1US$ (each)
Admission to the Clubs (35-50 US$) but thats with "All-you-can-drink" Open BAR
Tipping in the Clubs : around 10-15 US$ per night.
Daypasses to other Hotels (if you want to party there): 25-40 US$
    Jetskies/Waverunners: 40 US$ / half hour
For tours just look on the Mainwebsite here for prices:

From my personal oppionion you´re safe with around 100US$/day.
But that really depens on what/how frequent you want to do "activities" ;-)

We europeans generally have and advantage with our "stronger" brews ;-)
But dont unerestimate the partyfolks with their Beer-Bongs ;-)

Hey Thanks for the comments guys! N bring on the "beer bong" or even a keg stand we'll do Europe proud! Thanks NicHamburg that's great bit of help cheers. I'm thinking of taking £1000 for the two week so that's £72 a day. Should be enough. However i got a letter from the travel agents saying that Mexico no-longer accept USA $. So contact your travel agents as if yo take $ with you they might short change you with a poor exchange rate once over there knowing you cant do anything about it. So heads up. Since this holiday been booked they days just go slower...

i brought 650 US for a week and that was perfect. but i got discounts on clubs 4 out of the 7 nights. also if u plan on hitting on of the clubs that has a concert going exoect the price to go up 10-20 dollars. and also if u plan on doin some shopping at the flea market or whatever take that into account too. Im canadian but born in the US and i dont think there is any way you can out drink me! :p and try not to be suprised whe you get cold beer. I hear the english like em warm.

Doubt it would be a white wash even if you managed to out drink. However i do like a COLD drink of larger. Either way i'm sure its just going to be great.

    Good luck getting a Stella

You will be satisfied with warm foamy corona or dos equis while at the oasis and the clubs.
