March 12 - 19: this is our first time in Cancun. We stayed at a similar resort (same owners maybe?) in Puerto Vallarta and really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to some sun, warm weather and relaxation.
we'll see you there! about 15 of us will be there (12 are booked) and mostly GP veterans was it the Golden Crown Paradise? if so, i was there this past Sept..they are not the same owners anymore.
Yes - we've been to the Golden Crown Paradise twice and loved it ( and we rarely go anywhere twice). Since you've been to both, what are some of the similarities and differences?
not even close. only similarity was Adult only. When we first got to Golden Crown, i told myself ill never go back to PVR again. the place is REALLY run down. the beach vendors were TERRIBLE and VERY annoying. theres some in cancun but they leave you alone when you say no or ignore them. but these guys wont take no! Food at Crown wasnt close to GP either... it was just bland and didnt taste good at all. Service was great...Polo at the main bar was awesome and always took care of me at night when hes working....one thing i love is the 24hr room service espicially the breakfast were you just fill it out and they send it at time you want in the morning. Beach...forget about it, it was rough and just VERY VERY DIRTY! (coz of that river that feeds to the beach) good thing we were only there for 4days. Only best part of that trip was when we went to YELAPA. had an awesome view, great beach and AMAZING food! You'll love Golden Parnassus.
