i keep getting this message when i go to certain threads, discussions, posts, etc... is anyone else seeing anything like this? and is it true?

Warning: Visiting this site may harm your computer!
The website at Cancun Vacation Guide | Cancun Tours and Hotels contains elements from the site Caribbean Mag.com : Caribbean Hotels, Resorts, All Inclusives, Villas, Travel and Vacation Planner, which appears to host malware – software that can hurt your computer or otherwise operate without your consent.

This is the second time I've had this report in recent days.

Caribbeanmag.com is the site that some people use for their vacation count down tickers, so you may see that warning currently if the thread you are reading features a count down ticker hosted from that site in someones signature.

The ticker countdown code is totally harmless, it's just bulletin board code which can not be exploited to cause harm (in fact bb code was specifically invented to avoid the problems of hosting regular html code from 3rd party sites). However, it seems the main caribbeanmag.com site may have, rightly or wrongly, been flagged as malicious and the warning is following through from that.
