    Ladies

I am looking at stocking up my makeup. I have been checking out these mists that you can spray on to have makeup stay on. I have oily skin and tend to end up glowing in high heat!:icon_redface:! I am wondering if you have used any specific makeup that worked well against the humidity and heat of a Cancun summer?

    Thank you!

Make sure you have good waterproof mascara and eyeliner and it'll stick. As far as powder goes, that's a different story. Nothing seems to stick. You're better off going without, and using an oil-absorbent face wipe often, for the moisture induced oily face.

I don't have oily skin but i have had great success with Urban Decay's "Up All Night". They do have one for oily skin called "De-Slick".

I skip the makeup in the daytime in favour of a powdered mineral sunblock that doubles as a bronzer, as how can you re-apply sunblock lotion if you put foundation on in the morning??

I also get eyelash extensions for every trip so I can skip the mascara. I watch for a deal on Groupon or other similar deal site and pick them up for half price or better, and they last between 1 - 4 weeks depending on how gentle you are with them, and how good the technician is that applies the lashes.

You didn't ask about hair, but Moroccan oil is pretty much a must-have in Cancun to keep your hair from becoming a big fuzzball due to the wind and humidity.
