Annette and I are finishing up the list of auction items for the 2015 live auction at the Friday evening Meet n Mingle at this years Wishes, Wonders, and Whodats. We raised almost $10,000 at last year's auction, and we want to do it again this year. We have some great items, although we could use a few more items that bring a lot of $$ for MAW. We do limit the number of items in order to limit the time required. Sports items sell well, and may be an option if you have access to those. An example would be the St Louis Cardinals package that was on the list last year that included 4 box seats, hotel room, dinner, and some other items. This item sold for almost $1000 last year, and is on the list again. A similar item for another city would be great. Any connections from Houston, Dallas, Boston, Denver, or any other city out there? Malibu Strings gift certificates were one of our best sellers last year, and we have their support again this year. Any other connections within the clothing or travel industry? WWW15 will be a great opportunity to support Make-A-Wish while updating a gal's wardrobe for an upcoming TTR trip. Malibu Strings has donated three gift certificates that we will be auctioning off on Friday night. Contact any of the attendees if you would like for them to make some absentee bids for you. The gift certificates are for $200, $300, and $500, and can be used any time.
