MORE INFO: How To Book $8 Flights From ATL www.spiritair.com The Fort Lauderdale-based airline, which specializes in flights to the Caribbean, is advertising a "Mother of all Spirit Sales" or M.O.A.S.S. sale for short. This on the heels of the "Many Islands, Low Fares" of MILF special from earlier this month. The sale features flights starting at $8 each way plus taxes and fees. From Atlanta, they offer the $8 fares to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando on select dates. Fares from Atlanta to Las Vegas are on sale starting at $17.77 each way plus taxes and fees. On Spirit's Web site, the sale features a photo with a donkey on it. Spirit Air claimed using the acronym MILF was unintentional. They claimed that it's senior vice president of pricing is a British citizen who was not familiar with the MILF terminology and that the airline was not trying to offend people. The airline also featured an online promotion entitled "The Hunt for Hoffa" back in 2006. That promotion referred to the FBI's hunt for Jimmy Hoffa. The agency tore down a Michigan barn in '06 looking for Hoffa's body. That advertising campaign was scrapped.
