Gorgeous house. Love loading those large photos that are scaled down too, loved that. Sorry, been a long week.
Now, now. Let's be nice to Claire. Claire, you need to get into that web page and scale down the photos so that they load sometime this week. It's really poor practce to put HUGE photos on web sites. You need to decrease the size and pixel count. Web photos require far fewer pixels than pictures you want to make into hi-res prints In actuality, my rule of thumb is 20 seconds maximum to load a page. RG may have a tighter or looser criteria, but to me, if I've got to wait more than 20 seconds, it's not worth waiting for. You should fix this ASAP.
This is a great little freebie program for resizing batches of images. It's easy to learn, tiny and can resize a whole directory of photos in no time. BIMP Lite Freeware download and review - Batch Image Processor from SnapFiles I didn't mean to be snarky, it's just that as a web designer the first thing I see are the mistakes. You should decide what size you want your images to appear on screen and then resize them to those dimensions. Scaling images in a web site is going to be a big no-no in 99.99% of cases.
Thanks, it's my teenage daughter who did the site....I am going to tell her!!! and to resize the pics....Thanks for your input.
