So we are booked for 9/29 for a lush Tower Oceanfront Suite, per earlier trip reports these were not finished yet as of opening. I haven't seen any pictures of these rooms yet, or any information stating they are ready yet. Does anyone have any information, updates or pictures of this room category?
LL, if you could update as to how this works out for you once you get back it would be appreciated, so we have an idea of what to expect being booked for this room category.
I submitted my express check-in on the Temptation site (with comments), as well as sent an email and snail mail to the manager last week. If they still screw me, I will consider that as a proverbial customer service slap in the face. Please confirm that renovation is completed for my room (Lush Tower Oceanfront Suite). If it is not complete by my arrival on September 5, 2017, I expect to be upgraded (AT NOT ADDITIONAL COST) to a Temptation Oceanfront Master Suite or Temptation Oceanfront Penthouse. Completion should be defined as meeting all of the following: *All structural work should be in finished condition. This should be confirmed prior to my arrival. *The plumbing, drain, and sewage system should be in good working order AND confirmed by testing. *Hot water should be readily available in the shower, jacuzzi, and sinks. This should be confirmed prior to my arrival. *Air conditioning (HVAC) should be in good working order and preset at 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The aforementioned criteria is non-negotiable. Thank you
So if I was reading this I think I say 'fuck this guy' as soon as you say 'completions should be defined as'. When you get legal on them and set demands it doesn't make people want to help you out. Just my 2 cents
Demanding does not tend to go down too well in Mexico. Sounds like a set of demands Justin Bieber might make prior to confirming a concert. My guess is your email will go ignored and your snail mail has a 50/50 chance of arriving sometime around Christmas 2019 or not at all. You'll need to deal with this on check in. Can't wait to see how this plays out.
I think you guys are being a bit harsh on our friend here. He did end his email with a Anyways, I hope this all works out and that he gets something that meets his standards. While I am sure that we will have a great time at TTR as we always do, I would be a bit disappointed if the room we paid extra points for wasn't ready and we didn't receive some form of compensation or transfer to a similar class of room.
