I know most of the people on here favour the sexy pool, and indeed some don't even know where the quiet pool is, but I thought it was about time somebody said a good word about the positives of the quiet pool, so here goes: 1. It's peaceful! You can relax, have a nap, have a dip in the water and get away from the craziness of the sexy pool for a while. 2. It's not boring! Granted the sexy pool is the place to meet majority of CCCer's, but I did bump into and have very interesting/meaningful conversations with a lot of people at the quiet pool. A plus point as well, you can actually hear people without music drowning out the conversation. 3. The bar is not rammed! You can get served pretty quickly at the quiet pool bar, whereas you might have to wait and wade through a sea of people to get served at the sexy pool. 4. There is music, but it isn't 'house' or 'international top 10' stuff! They do play music at the quiet pool, but it is nice 'background' stuff, over the constant stuff they play over at the sexy pool. 5. Balcony shows! Sit around the quiet pool around 4/5pm and you're likely to see something interesting! Because it is 'quiet', people seem more inclined to let go on their balcony over by the quiet pool. 6. It isn't heated! Again, I know for some this is a negative, but for me, when you've got a hangover there is no better cure than jumping feet first into a cold pool. Instant refreshment. When we ventured into the sexy pool, it was warm, sometimes like bath temperature...not good when its so hot outside anyway! 7. You are guaranteed a chair whatever time you show up! Unlike the reservation saga at the sexy pool, you can pretty much show up at any time and get a chair. 8. You're first-in-line for the dinner reservation queue! We are all forgetful, and it is easy to forget that reservations need making when you're at the sexy pool, but you're literally 30 seconds away from the reservation place at the quiet pool. 9. You get to laugh at the people on the neighbouring resort playing Bingo! Sometimes you can hear the people at the resort next door playing Bingo and it puts a smile on my face knowing that is the extent of the 'fun' they're having! So rather than shunning the quiet pool I think it should be celebrated. It truly is a hidden gem!

I almost fell in it once! Good to know it's not heated though. In May we actually spent a bit of time in the Sports Pool just because the Sexy Pool was like soup... But that only lasted as long as our drinks.
We've been hitting up the quiet pool for years! It's far from quiet!!!! Actually I think the majority of action actually starts there... But that's just my experience.. And the bar is awesome, no lines. And who wants to miss a balcony show anyway? And if we're giving one its nice to know you've got everyone's full attention!
We actually enjoy spending at least part of the afternoon at the quiet pool. It gets us away from the thumping base that seems to be the "music" of choice by the DJ and it's kind of nice to just settle back and have a nice conversation with someone and get a drink whenever you would like one. As said before, Lulu is great. Yes Virginia, there is a quiet pool. It's actually a good place to have quiet fun.
