The last night of our trip, we lost our camera. We checked everywhere and with the desk but never found it. So, to all of you June Junkies that were there when we were, if you have any pictures with us in them, we would be very appreciative if you would share them with us. Still No luck that sucks you know someone has it and I hope they feel good that they took your vacation memories...scum some people are just scum... If we have any of you guys we'll let you know...I'm sure I have a couple of Nat from across the pool in my stalker mode...
That's what we do. One year we had the second half of an SD card that got corrupted, we lost a few hundred pictures off it. Since then, we switch cards often and leave the used ones in the room safe. Hopefully this advice will help out others before the same happens to them. Sorry to hear about your lost pictures.
I know the front desk did not have it this time, words of advice to everyone else though MAKE sure to check the front desk if you lose something. They had a couple items I lost the night before. Just make sure to check asap as they have a big lost and found bag. Also for you guys call the front desk and check over the next week or 2 just in case it was lost in a place where no one has found it yet. Good advice from others on the multiple cards. I bring my laptop with me, and didn't think of just uploading the pics daily in case something happened. I will next time. I also make sure to bring my "tough" camera which is waterproof, drop proof and freeze proof. If the camera was lost though the pictures would be as well. Memories last forever though, I'm sure you fellow travelers can send you some pictures and you will always remember the good times you guys had.
We bring our laptop also, upload the pics daily but do NOT clear the cards. We store them in the safe just in case something happens to the laptop. You can never be too carefull
I lost my grandmother's wedding band while I was there. I didn't even mean to bring it, and then somehow lost it even though I remember putting it in the safe- I'm sure when I pulled out some jewerly for one night it fell out and got mixed in something. I know how you feel. We didn't take ANY pictures because my husband is allergic to cameras but would love to see everyone pictures. We are not on the facebook page, but want to be if anyone can add us.
