Hey guys.. Brand new to the forum. Long time reader, first time poster. So my girl and I came down on March 20th and stayed until the 27th. We lost our camera pretty early into our vacation and are hoping that we find some awesome people on the forum here who may have picked it up. :huh: We misplaced it on the night of the 21st (early morning of the 22nd) somewhere between Paty'O's and one of the beach beds by the Asian Wok restaurant. We scoured the place in the morning, but obviously to no avail. It's a black/grey Panasonic Lumix that likely had a soft cover zip-up case on it. It's not even the camera that we care about.. it's our memory card. Hell.. if someone finds it, I'll mail them the battery charger for the camera in exchange for the undamaged card with all of our pictures on it.. no questions asked. You can even keep a copy of her in the schoolgirl outfit for your troubles.. =) Seriously though, it was a bit of a downer to our otherwise awesome vacation and it would cheer us up lots. We know the likelihood is slim, especially after repeatedly trying at the front desk while we were there to see if anyone handed it in. Any help or info would be appreciated. Thanks. We were there when you lost it, I am sure that you asked us if we had seen it! That is such a shame that you didn't find it, I know how I would feel if we lost ours. I am sure if one of the Cancun care members would have found it you would have it back by now. I know that there were a few untrustworthy people around, Jim lost his chair t-shirt on the second day, never to be seen again and it had "I Love Temptation JIM's chair" on it, not much use to anyone unless their name was Jim!!!
Sorry about losing your pictures. May I suggest getting multiple smaller cards instead of one big one and switching them every couple of days . It may seem inconvenient, but ... Maybe some readers can pm you and send you some pictures from that week. Hint ..hint.. Hope this is not a new trend. See very few posts about theft.
