Basically me and a few friends from the UK are looking to experience spring break US style! Just need a bit of help on how to book and if anyone from the UK has done this before what websites did you use etc?

    Thanks

hi we are all 22-24, looking at between 4-6 people. Obviously not long now so would depend on price but probably looking at closer to 4!

Oh and based in Devon, but can travel anywhere really for flights etc, and budget the cheaper the better within reason. Done a bit of research ourselves and looking at about 800 for 7 days. Just thoguht with the expertise on here there might be a few tricks for keeping it down/places to avoid at all costs etc

    Thanks

I went in a group of 5 first time round aged 20 - 22 then second time just me and a pal who then made friends there so group ended up at around 8. So similar holidays by the sounds.

Hope this reply isn't too late as 800 for 7 nights is expensive. Their having your pants down a treat who ever quoted that. First time i paid £998 and second time £1100 (different hotels) both all inclusive for two weeks. I flew with Thomas cook both times so I'd try them if haven't all ready.

    Hey all,

I'm looking to do the spring break thing this year flying from London around the 23rd March but my friends can't make it; looking at doing it alone or adding on to a group where possible. Any tips on how to make this happen... Most hotels etc seem to be for bookings of 2 + people

    Thanks

    Kerry x

Kerry, i did 4 out of 8 Spring Breaks in Cancun on my own. What kind of Accomodation are u looking for? Something inexpensive? A 24/7 party hotel with AI? Or a 5-star ritzlike Resort? Just gimme a hint so i can give you some more detailed answer.

    Cheers

    Nico

If youre looking for a proper SB atmosphere I think the party has moved on now. You guys are just gonna be other big group of UK lads that are going out this year.

Its a cracking laugh mind. Play your cards right and you could have a great time.

My only advice to the UK people is this... its aint Magaluf or Kavos. Americans in general are much much more friendly and less cliquey. Its not like going away in the med and you only really go out with your mates - its much more inclusive and everyone tends to mould into one big group from your hotel.

Dont expect the shagfest you think either. The ratio this year will be astronomically bad off the back of Geordie Shore etc.

In my mind, if you go away in a bigger group youre missing out. Its much more fun going away in a small group and making friends there. I met mates for life the last two years ive visited but then it was just me and one friend there. The bigger your group the more isolated you will be.

    £800 is about average now.

Do NOT stay at Oasis, Grand Oasis or Krystal. Riu Cancun is good, but lots of guys. Gran Caribe is a good medium. Visit Oasis on day passes, but do not stay there.

    Also Omni is good.
