My husband and I have recently moved to Puerto Morelos and we are looking to rent a house around the $7000 peso mark. Any suggestions on where to look or who to call? Also we are looking to buy a vehicle from a used car lot that will allows you to do monthly payments. HELP?!?!?
Best thing to do is to just explore and find an area you like, then look for the "For Rent" signs and approach owners directly. Also buy the Novedades newspaper and check the classifieds. Brokers and websites always rely on finders commissions and it will be you they are generating them from. Re used cars I'm not sure I trust used car salesmen anywhere, let alone in Mexico. Be prepared for high prices and high interest rates. Maybe better to pay cash for a cheaper runaround, there seems to be no standard on road worthiness here.
