We will be in Cancun beginning Saturday, 6/11 but don't get to TTR until Wednesday, 6/15. Everyone says Coco Bongo is a can't miss, but are the other clubs just as good? Should we go to Coco Bongo on our own or should we just wait and go with the entertainment staff to one of the other clubs?
I think Coco Bongo would be much more fun with a group. You'd have a great time either way, though--it's amazing!
The City is supposed to be up there with Coco Bongo, I personally like the Thursday night foam party at the club up and down at the Grand Oasis. Honestly, I wish my last trip I would've went with the entertainment staff deals every night. I tried to save money and go to the clubs without and it kind of sucks, The good thing about going through the ent. staff is you get a table and sometimes a bottle of liquor and I felt like I received drinks quicker. When I went alone I had to fight for drinks, and be squished by the crowd the whole time. But, I guess it really depends on how busy the club is. I'd say if you're not looking to save a little money and want to avoid some headache then for sure go through the ent. staff.
Not to mention they drive you there too which is nice, all you have to do is get a ride back on the bus or deal with the taxis
We were wondering if there was a foam party?!?!?! Is it worth the trip down? What is the cost to get in?
Back in the day, La Boom was a must visit night club. Not sure if that place ever opened up after Wilma though. BTW, if you go to a foam party, don't wear anything that is leather (watch bands, shoes, etc.).
I'm not sure what the cost is, they let us in for free because we were staying at their chain of hotels (oasis), I think it's free for ladies though and men might have to pay a cover and I think drinks are included Definitely fun and worth it though, I reccomend wearing a swimsuit underneath your clothes, it gets a little messy :xyxthumbs:
