My husband and I are looking to pay a nurse or helper to provide some care/help for my father-in-law who suffered a stroke. It's been two years since his stroke and he has regained some usage of his right leg again (can walk very slowly with the assistance of a cane). He has been living in Merida but we want to move him back to his home in Cancun. We are looking for someone who can help on a weekly basis (live-in not required) with tasks such as providing meals (would provide money of course), assistance with bathing, offering help to go on small walks in the immediate neighborhood and checking on general safety and well being. There are no specific medical duties required (only medication he takes is a daily aspirin). We live in Toronto. Please PM if you are or someone you know might be a great fit Thanks in advance -Jennifer & Manuel Salazar
adult care There is a adult care house, SM27 corner by the park enter Tankah. They advertise home care and residence. aliciacampos_07@hotmail.com. I walk by on the way to the gym , will get the cell number if the e-mail doesn't work. The place looks nice and the people seem happy.
Thanks Karl. We'll look into it. This could be an option to at least get my suegro back into Cancun (he desperately misses his city). I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks so much -jennifer and manuel
Jen, sorry to hear about your suegro but im glad hes doing better... i have a friend thats been looking for a job like this... but im thinking that your suegro doesnt need an english speaking nurse does he?
