Hey guys and girls. I'm coming down to Cancun again in late Feb. and am considering getting a tattoo done while I'm there. Figured that a little research in advance would probably be a good plan :icon_smile: So I figured that I'd ask here because I don't know any locals and i'm not thinking that asking the hotel staff and trying to throw something together at last minute isn't a good plan at all. Obviously wanting a clean shop and a top notch artist. Fluent English speaking is a must, preferably a Canada/US/England expat. I'm not a racist bastard at all, but if the guy is going to permanently draw on me, I'm not willing to endure any language barrier at all for the sake of political correctness. I'd like it if I could email the artist ahead of time and design the art before I ever go so i could just get it inked there. Does anybody have "their guy" that they want to recommend?
If you cross to Isla Mujeres for a day, I have a recommendation there. When you get off the boat, walk down the front road to the left. You will see a restaurant called Brisa's. Inside there to the left, there is a tattoo parlor with one artist. His work is really good and everyone raves about him. It might be a good excuse to take your honey to the island for the day too.
