Hey there folks, ex-swimmer here looking to revive my old pasttime. Any clue where I could find a recreational pool to swim in my spare time? Preferably a lap-pool because I just feel lost in a regular pool. The only one I've ever stumbled across is at Spirit2 behind the stadium... yeah, 790 pesos a month for 4 swims/week, 1/2 hour each? I don't think so I was hoping for something a little more reasonable. Any suggestions? Let me know, thanks!!
This post should probably be in the Living in Cancun section... The Cruz Roja on Yaxchilan has a big pool where you can swim laps. And there's a new public Olympic size pool on Chcichen Itza just east of Kabah, it was just inaugurated two weeks ago. Go check them out and please post the costs here if you can.
