Hello everyone!!! my brother and me are planning on moving to cancun on march, but of course we need a job... it would be really nice if any of you could give us a lead on something, we've been looking over the internet for jobs and will be checking some as soon as we get there. a little info from us: im 21, ive been working for almost 3 years at a global accounting firm as an executive assistant (secretary) i have about 90% in english and fluent spanish, as im mexican of course... i left my job because i wanna settle in cancun. my brother is 27 and hes an absolute handyman, he is a mechanic mainly but can also work as a plumber, electrician, bouncer, waiter... anything, the guy is the bomb (not only because hes my brother, but he is really good at pretty much everything) he also speaks english, maybe not as fluent as myself but hes good, also speaks spanish perfectly. Please, if anyone knows something ill appreciate it! Thanks a million!!!!
I can't suggest any direct leads but I cant see it being too difficult for you to find a job here Norma. A Mexicana with great English and accountancy secreterial experience - I dont think it will be difficult at all for you. Your brother too. Best thing to do is to come down with enough cash to last you a month or so and enough put by to get home if you need to and then look for a job once here.
