The Paradissus - down near Puerto Morelos has a great locals discount right now. 1400 pesos will get you 2 adults and children under ten (free) for one night . Thats 1400 pesos per room not per person. The website has very expensive prices but ring reception and mention the offer and you will get it. Its a lovely hotel. Tracey
I called about it yesterday, the offer is only for June. We needed July, sigh, but the prices were EXORBITANT after June 30. If you can get out there before the end of the month, it is a fantastic deal. (Must provide ID from QRoo for the 1425 price).
We just returned and it was fabulous.We saw lots of Cancunenses there and it turned into a very sociable weekend. Good food, nice rooms and good service. Tracey
We got back at lunchtime. Decided to take advantage before the offer ran out but obviously didnt pick a very good weekend, since it rained from the moment we got there to the moment we left. Probably not fair to judge it in such weather conditions but it was almost empty of tourists other than quite a lot of cancunenses, and there wasnt anything much to do with the rain bucketing down. I thought the food was pretty standard buffet fayre and most of the specialty restuarants were closed. Service and rooms were fine though. We found out a regular day pass is 600 pesos from 9-5 which is not too bad of a deal.
What a shame Steve. Riv Maya in the rain is never a good shout. Uk in a heatwave however is just fab. Tracey x
