We are getting ready to hit TTR for the first time Wednesday. We have done a little shopping for the Theme Nights but wife is a little unsure about some of the Theme Nights like lingerie Night.

Is there any shopping for sexy outfits / accessories close to the resort in case she gets more in the mood and wants to find something to wear other that what we brought?

We thought for the first night we would just do comfortable clothes and check it out and get comfortable. Leather is not really something we have laying around to dress up in.

    Any advise would be helpful.

There is a shop at the resort which sells some outfits.. mainly lingerie. I don't recall the pricing, but I think Kelsey bought an outfit from there on our last trip. It will likely only take you about 5 minutes to get comfortable :)

I suggest bringing as many outfits from home, even if you don't think you'll wear them. Pricing at the gift shop is VERY high. On that not make sure you bring a ton of waterproof sunscreen as the price there is at lease 3x what you'd pay at home. :)

    Have a great trip!

Can't go wrong with Fredricks of Hollywood, or pink cherry. Amazon, you get what you pay for. There are some great BD sites for leather. Both men and ladies.

Also check out yandy.com. A good price and decent quality. I try not to spend A lot of money on theme outfits as each time we go themes seem to change.

You can always go to Wally World when you get there.

There are a few malls in town that you can go and find lingerie, swim suits, & other outfits as well...one of them is called "la Isla" It is very nice and has a lot of the same stores from back home.

Thanks for all of the replies. The online options like Amazon have already been used a little. I was mainly interested once we get there because now is too late to order online.

Thanks again and hope to meet some of you later this week.

The gift shop is WAY overpriced, and the shops nearby and Walmart won't have anything sexy or theme oriented.

Your plan to hang back and check things out the first night is smart. But I'd advise the "better to have and not need than to need and not have" approach. You can always pack theme wear and things you think you'd never wear and choose to put on regular clothes instead, but if you decide you want to push the envelope and you don't have anything, you're stuck.

Try Yandy and Discountstripper.com. Check return policies. You can always send back things you don't actually wear.

Just in case you don't have the right theme wear once you're comfortable at TTR; you can always go to Wallyworld to buy band aids and duct tape. That will get you through but you will likely be more covered up than the people who brought their theme wear with them for the trip.

    Sorry I'm kidding...a little...well sorta (actually I wasn't kidding at all).

The real truth of the matter is its nearly impossible to leave the vibe of TTR to go shopping once you're there and comfortable. You simply won't want to miss a moment of the fun!
