Lobster season just started today (July 1)...not sure where you can buy them, but you've got until the end of February to get them.

    Lobster

I've seen fishermen selling freshly caught lobster at Isla Mujeres. There's bound to be other places in the area, as well, that's just the only place I've personally seen it. Didn't ask prices.

We usually take the R 1,2, or 15 to get to the hotel zone, cento etc.. or take the 510 if we are in centro ,,all pickup and drop off us off either on la Luna or very close by..just not sure on the puerto jaurez bus routes?

Take any bus to the "Crucero" (a major stop, the buses going there will say "Crucero" on the front); then, catch a "colectivo" for 4.5 pesos each to Puerto Juarez. Alternatively, you could take a taxi from the Crucero to Puerto Juarez for 20 pesos.

I just bought some this morning at Playa Blanca (Puerto Juarez). It was $200 pesos per kilo. You have to get there ealy in the morning to get them fresh. From 6 am to 9 am. The earlier the better.
