In the past, lingerie Night was always held on a Thursday and would involve everyone going into Nice Shoes for Casino Night or some other activity. It was usually closed off for those not participating. My question to those who have been there since the re-open: Now that lingerie Night is Wednesday, do they still have any 'special' event, ie casino night etc tied to that? Is it in another closed off room like before with limited access? I guess the same could be said for the other theme nights...any other changes in presentation/logistics for the evening or is it simply head down to Bash after dinner wearing said theme night outfits?
Nothing like the 'old days'. It's just 'lingerie night'. To be honest, I can't even remember what the entertainment was...... Yup, just head down to Bash wearing whatever the theme is......
Personally, we tried Casino Night one time, and that was enough. Nice Shoes, as a party venue,... in a word, sucked. Stuffy, smelly, poor ventilation, worse service, bad seating, poorly lit. Good sound system though. The new Sports Bar setup "could" be so much more. Participation in the hotel's theme nights wasn't any better now that they've got one every day (until Mex-night went away -- to be replaced with superheros?), is what we noticed. The CCC theme nights, for the people here on CCC, had some really good participation when we were there in October. Trying to get the March grioup to hook into the themes, and that's looking positive.
Agree that Nice Shoes was the armpit of the resort, and won't miss it. But Casino Night got the party going on lingerie Night.
To be honest, it's one of the things we missed most. Yes, Nice Shoes sucked big time....but some of the entertainment there was what TTR was all about. Casino night, the stripper show, the scavenger hunts...all the audience participation.....all missing now....
Agree that the interactive audience participation driven night time entertainment has been largely dropped from the itinerary. Not sure if that is a positive or negative. It is just different now
