I love trying new drinks/ I know each resort we have been to, has "Must Try!! drinks" so let me know what TTR "MUST TRY" drinks are. (TTR MAR 7- MAR 14)
We r not that inventive. Vodka (grey goose) cranberry, vodka soda, vodka lemonade, hornitos tequila shots, wet pussy shots (not a wet pussy cocktail, too sweet). We also bring a couple of bottles of fireball to put in our bubba mugs with ice somedays (ya...I know its sweet). They all work. Always ask for a double though.
The drinks are always slightly different depending on who is making them. Get a "purple shit" on ice(not as a shot) to get you going...but be careful. If I am looking for something different I will normally ask the bartender to just surprise me with something awesome that they don't always make. They will normally pull something out of their magic box. Also, a "Ticket to Fly" is really good. If it is made correctly, it should look almost like the color of Pepto Bismol, but again be careful. They are like ordering a Long Island. God (or Gerry) only knows what was in this one.
I cannot remember the bar tenders name at the quiet pool bar but he made the best Margarita I have ever had. I hope he is still there next Friday
My fav drink @ TR - Buy a coconut from the vendor walking the beach, have a few sips, top it off with Rum and let the bees chase you
My wife loves margaritas!!!! We will be there on the 9th coming from SoCal. Have to get her one of the best margaritas made at TTR. See you at the bar.
Drunken Monkey is my favorite drink! Can't go wrong with banana + chocolate. It's my second breakfast every day. I've also seen the following recommended here on the forums and am going to try them once I'm down there. I'm the type of person that loves lists but I love checking things off them even more! BBC - Banana liquor, baileys and coconut (frozen drink) Paloma - tequila, grapefruit soda, lime juice, salted rim Passion fruit margarita Passion fruit or mango daiquiri - can get this frozen too Also our trip dates overlap! Hopefully we'll see you guys down at the Sexy pool. -Gwen
