Question for all the regulars I know we all get so excited before our trip, buying clothes and swimsuits, on the forum all day everyday and counting down til we leave. But do we all hype up our trip so much that it can't live up to our expectations?? Has this happened to anyone?
Actually it is better then all the hype. If you talk and get to know people here first and then find them when you get there it always turns out better then you imagine in my opinion. As long as you want to have fun and meet interesting people you will have a blast no matter what.
This will be our third trip to TTR. Both trips were amazing, met some great people and had the time of our lives. Looking to repeat this in June with the amazing friends we made last year and with new ones. :clappyinghappy: What was I thinking....it's TTR!
Only if you got really sick or injured! Last year i got ill a few days n was throwing up bad but still made the best of it n had a blast
It is what you make of it. Biggest tip we can make is TALK TO OTHER PEOPLE! Literally, everyone there is outgoing and WANTS to talk to YOU! Do some shots, do some dumb things, participate in theme nights/sexy pool activities, TTR events and before you know it, you'll have 20 new friends in less than 24 hours. If you can, try and remember some faces and names from here and when you see some one, introduce yourself. Relax, have some fun and be yourself...it's going to be amazing. Wow...now I am even more excited to get there!!!
A couple of things can make the trip somewhat of a letdown Getting way too hammered on day one One of you being too hungover to enjoy the resort Having a long string of crappy weather days although we have never had more than two bad days in a row in 20 plus trips Bringing all of the outfits for theme nights and no one else participating Drama of any type Really crappy room and the hassle of moving Most of these are avoidable by using some good common sense.
