Here is a question that confuses me every time we go to mexico. Why is whenever you ask for a lemon in your drink you always get a lime???? we had asked this at a few resorts and they all give us the same answer that a lemon is a lime in Mexico! I dont know about the rest of the world but we have lemons and limes in the states.. anyone else run into this dilemma??
The last time we were in Mexico the bartender kept putting a lemon in my Corona. When ever I tried to explain it his response was "it's the same thing". After a few days I just started asking for a green lemon.
last time they were using half green half yellow? lemon picked too quickly or over ripe lime ?? had it in a ceasar tasted ok
Cant figure out why they dont. So maybe I should consider starting a lemon grove in Mexico and open lemonade stands! lol
Try ordering lemonaide. they always end up giving you 7up, so u gotta ask for "Limonada" to get lemonaide
Guees I will have to brush up on my spanish...well once i get drunk it might sound like spanish and english with a Canadian slang..lol
we love limes in our drinks.... so its all good with us....lol..... but we didn't know they didn't have lemons in mexico...... interesting.....
