Hey all, We are going for two weeks this year and are wondering if there are any laundry facilities at TTR? I'm not sure if I have enough shorts and shirts to make it through the two weeks without doing a wash, either that or I guess I'll have to wash em in the shower and hang them to dry on the balcony.
They used to have some in a market next to the hotel, but they werent very good. There are a couple of laundry locations close to the hotel.
They have a laundry service ''$'', just pay after all you are on vacation. We find that you spend most of the day in your bathing suit in the water so not too much laundry. Bring some dryer sheets and hang them on your hangers and put some in your dresser drawers.
Yeah I will agree here...I always overpack Polos.. always in swimwear during the day, and dressier stuff at dinner
I understand there is a laundry service down the street towards the hotel zone across the street that washes and folds your clothes. I haven't used them, have a friend in old town that has a place we use. These places charge by the pound and have real reasonable rates. As Don said, the service provided by the hotel is way expensive and the old machines that used to be there are gone. Jamie
Yeh I know Jamie thats why I put the ""$"". My point was do you want to loose 2 hours or more of your vacation to save 20 or $40 .
Laundry @ TTR Head over to Steves, if he isnt to busy he does provide a good wash and fold service lol
If it were 20 or 40 I'd go with it... more like $100 (and that's a trip for two to Coco Bongos!). And with the service down the street it's more like losing an hour between dropping it off and picking it up. Jamie
Then we'll just have to do swim in the pool with our clothes on. lol Yes that is a lot more then i recall
Jodie & I just brought little packages of Tide with us and washed our clothes in the shower while taking a shower, lol it was a little weird at first but kinda like camping, then we just left them on the chairs on the balcony to dry. It worked out just fine
