We have had many good trips to Temptation/Desire Cabo but the weekend of September 25/26 makes me write this sad report.

First of all, there were less than 40 people at the entire resort. I never counted more than 30 in one place but my sweety pie insisted there had to be more.... somewhere. This isn't the resort's fault... or is it, because it isn't meeting people's needs anymore?

I still managed to overdrink the first night and missed dinner, which was held in only one restaurant, Suki. It was to my surprise that there was NO late night food anwhere. If you hadn't filled up by the end of dinner time you were SOL until morning.

Only the "reserved" poolside/beachside beds had mattresses. All the other bed frames were bare - no mattresses, no shade. Looked terrible.

The disco is now open only ONE night per week. Really? Thank goodness for the hot tub which still makes it till three.

The entertainment & enternainment staff has really dropped below par. There was nothing but volleyball and the same old poolside trivia games, and oh yeah, bingo. Nothing sexy or memorable. Next to nothing in the evenings. No more stripper show on Saturday.

Even the entertainment staff uniforms are looking all faded and washed out. Not that I'm a fashion diva but it just added to the fading luster of the whole place. The gym is really scuzzy but always has been and I just try to ignore - just don't look at the peeling ceiling or the torn up carpet.

They ran out of Captain Morgan's one day and Bailey's the next. No effort to get more. I swear they were watering down the vodka, which I've never noticed before. With 5 drinks and no buzz I was just getting bloated from all the diet Coke!

I think if occupancy was up they might step back up their game but it certainly isn't fair to the few people that come during the low season to have such a poor experience. I want you all to keep going so it stays and improves and maybe even becomes Desire again but in fact, even I, will go back to Cancun if it's possible (longer flight - need more time).

All this said, I've been watching to see how the Desire week went? Was it great? Did they talk of doing more or bringing back the concept?
