How does the resort handle late checkouts? We have a 9:45 departure, so we'd like to hang out at the resort as long as possible. First timers, so we have lots of questions. :lotsofmichaelfs:
depends on the occupancy rate,, In April it was a no go They have showers and they have a room for your luggage Just get the TSA approved locks for the luggage there a good idea any way Buy the end of your trip you may know a few people that will let you use their room,,,usually happens
We packed a backpack with our needed items to shower and change. Kicked it at the pool until it was time to go. Showered at the Spa, changed, and then stopped by the front desk (where we checked out at noon and did all our exit paperwork) to have our wrist-bands cut off. They hold your bags at the front desk area for you.
We have done the same thing. We leave our luggage at the front desk and shower in the spa. We put what we need in our pool/beach bag and then the liquids back into our luggage before leaving the hotel. It's really nice in the spa, actually nicer than our room...the only downside is you don't get to shower together :bj: to end the vacation the righ way! ~Jill~
That's what we were hoping to do, check out and just hang out for the rest of the day...it's like adding a day to the vacation. Looking forward to meeting you guys
Odds of finding a CCC friend who will allow u to store ur things in their room and freshenen up are VERY GOOD! If not, yes I wld also agree that a TSA approved lock will be suffice and use the spa facilities to shower. I do know that there was a thread on here somewhere where ppl were offering their room for BUMPING! (that sounds bad...i mean if resorts over booked and u got bumped to sister resort lol) Im sure the same rule wld apply.
We asked for a 1pm checkout since that's when we had to head out. Not sure if they let you stay later. Some CCers offered us the use of their showers if we couldn't get a later check out with one caveat...no sex on their bed...LOL
