Does anyone know if TTR allows you to stay in your room after the normal check out hours? I assume there’ll be extra fees. If so, what do they charge per hour or the rest of day like around 5 to 6pm? The reason is because we are debating to do the Boobs Cruise on our last day stay at TTR (September 6th) before returning to a different resort later that day. Just don’t feel comfort to leave our luggages with important stuff at the front desk while we aren’t on TTR for several hours. Just a thought.
Generally they'll let you stay until noon. If it's not busy they've let us keep our room until 4pm before, but with how busy the resort's looking I wouldn't count on it. When you check-out they'll give you a day pass to wander the resort with. I've left my laptop and baggage with the bellhop before and never had a problem.
Leave your luggage in a friend's room and maybe take a shower before you depart. Check out before the BC.
when we have a late flight we generally ask a friend to drop our stuff off in their room after check out we have done it for others as well then they can clean up put on travel clothes before running out
Really depends on who you talk to and how busy they are. We usually leave the resort between 1 and 2 pm. One trip it's no problem for a late checkout, another time I had to pay extra for a late checkout, another time it was not an option. Like most side benefits, a late checkout is inconsistent. With check-in being at 3 pm, if the resort is full, they have no option to get you out close to 11 am. Especially with COVID cleaning protocols.
I would say your odds are probably not great. If I try to book a room for that day 1/2 the rooms are wait list, and the rest are pretty high priced which tells me they are pretty well sold at this point. I have left luggage with the bellhops at countless resorts, in countless countries at this point and have never had a issue, and many many people do this also. Honestly it's probably the safest place for them to be. The truth with most resorts, your highest risk of crime is from other guest / outsiders than it is the staff.
they actually lock up luggage in a separate room and they give you a paper so you can pick it up we have gotten in very early before our room was not ready before , dropped it off they locked it up we ate and hit the pool came back later when the pool closed got our room number luggage was already there ..nothing missing . same will go for checking out as well
Those are some good tips! Thanks everyone! We probably will call TTR to info them that we are wanting to do the Boobs Cruise and see if they’ll lock up our luggages in a separate room before we check out and the cruise. Otherwise make a new friends on our first day of stay there, they go onto the cruise next day, and leave our luggages in their room would be perfection! Regardless we are only staying there for a night. We must have waited to long to book TTR. We were looking forward to do 2-3 night stays unfortunately every rooms were unavailable on our dates we requested.
