My wife and I were at an event here in Vegas last night, and spoke to a group of people who were negotiating to purchase a small resort/hotel in town (64 rooms) and convert to a clothing optional resort. They talked about theme nights, special rooms, pool parties, etc. I couldn't believe this hadn't been done here before. It is Sin City. How could this not be a big hit? I never believe anything until it happens, but it sure sounded interesting. Of course there is no beach, but the beach at Temptations is about #7 on the list of why we go there. Are there other places in the US similar to this concept? I'd never trade Temptations or Desire for this, but sounds like a fun staycation....
Don't expect this to happen. We have a friend who was interested in purchasing a small boutique hotel a couple of years ago and doing this exact same thing with a swingers type club on premise as well. Not happening in Las Vegas. They have extremely strict rules pertaining total nudity in public areas. They will not allow pools that allow total nudity due to health risks, even the topless pools require pasties! Unless the laws have changed in the past year or two, I wouldn't expect to see this happen. I know the Red Rooster has a pool and allows total nudity but I believe they are grand fathered in. If this happens let me know, I have an investor that would be interested in the investment.
I brought up those same concerns, but they seemed to think this has been overcome. I'd be curious to see if it comes together. And if it does, and they have the backing of the city, could open up many more. But Temptations is still my vacation of choice. Will keep you posted if it happens.
I have been to the Topless pool at the Wynn and they do not require pasties and there were a lot of people it was a fun time!
Right there are several topless pools that allow thongs too. Of course total nudity is an entirely different ball game for some reason. We have enjoyed Bare at Mirage and Moorea at Mandalay Bay.
Once you get into "alcohol for sale" and "full nudity" plus "back room sex" you have just entered into a world of pain with the Nevada ABC. No chance in hell this flies. You ever wonder why there is only 1 full nude strip club with alcohol left in Vegas? This is why!
Great discussion and imput by everyone. My understanding is that totally nude and alcohol sales don't go together, well at least not legally. The swinger clubs are typically houses that have been converted into social clubs, many with pools, but no alcohol sales. I believe the fee charged to enter is considered a donation and not a sale. I think this type of endeavor would be more easily accomplished in another county. I know that Nye County which is close to LV allows brothels that serve alcohol, so a swinger nude resort might be acceptable. Today we got the Raiders and maybe tomorrow a nude resort.
There is many topless pools and no pasties required. Moorea at madalay bay and Bare are both totally topples
What really sucks is if you even bite a nipple, just one nipple, they will throw you out. TTR they are not. Ps. it was even my wife's nipple
I was told this would be a resort atmosphere, all inclusive hotel, so you are not buying drinks per se. I don't know how this changes things, but I'm just relaying what I was told. Will be interesting to see if they get around all the obstacles noted here. But as Pay & Jen stated....if we can get a football team...
